Just dropped an email to the (virtual) wildlife community I know to see if there is interest.. Helped knowing that there exists *a possibility* for it to be mutual interest.. Would it be reasonable to try to explain to those less tech-oriented by saying something like: "This is to data what super computers are to *more power* on research projects.."? They're both.. Linked.. By many, many.. Into something that boggles the Mind.. Something like that this would be creating a super [database] that isn't the blood, sweat, and tears of just any one entity is what my Mind is visualizing and trying to then re-interpret to friends without them completing glazing over while I'm hyperventilating at the mere concept.. :)) Have also dropped a bug into my disability circle locally.. CILs, centers for independent living, internationally could use something like this to disseminate numbers related to the effectiveness of people moving out of long term care facilities and becoming productive, included members of their communities.. The types of data I've seen crunched over the years would fit into something like this.. Just need to find a way to "sell" how *TOTALLY COOL* it would be if implemented.. Off to "muse".. Thanks again for the feedback.. Cindy :) - :: - CindySueCausey.blogspot.com ButterflyBytes.com Georgia Voices That Count, 2005 Talking Rock, GA, USA
