Hi all, Web services with simple (and mostly non-RDF) interfaces are important to make our work accessible. A service delivering a JSON and/or XML representation of Linked Data entities makes it much more probable that this data is re-used by a broad community of developers inside and outside the library world. This is especially true for (value) vocabulary sercies, but could become relevant for example for services identifying a work, too. Such services are mentioned in a number of use cases (e.g. [1], [2], [3]), but, as they are not in the focus of each single case, play a subordinated role there. As far as I've seen, they are not on the agenda of one of our clusters. So I'm afraid they could slip through the net for our final report. In my eyes, this would be a pitty, and I wonder how we could make linked data based library web services part of our work. What do you think?
