Not the entities itself are the problem (maybe the SKOS concept is but
not the FOAF ones).

I strongly assume libraries will use RDA in conceivable future, by this
time librarians will raise their voice for an adequate representation of
the cataloged information in the web (LLD) too.
Regarding my full mail from last time, my question was more about the
role of VIAF in these movements. So if VIAF intends to become the global
authority database on the LD web in an RDA era, you should not use
elements which don't express the same content / have same meaning like
claimed by the content standard (RDA rules).

Below a list of RDA attributes only for a person (without considering
relationships between entities) - unfortunately I cannot find analog
elements for all of these in FOAF
