Streaming profiles for JSON-LD have come up from time to time, but never been captured in an issue for consideration in 1.1.

As it happens, the Ruby JSON-LD implementation does implement a streaming writer, to create JSON-LD from a statement stream along the lines discussed in the issue.

This is primarily an issue for the use of JSON-LD as a general-purpose RDF format for reading and writing arbitrarily large documents or statement streams.
