JSON-LD Patch

Howdy,

I notice in Identity Credentials spec use of JSON Patch (proposed in
RFC6902)

At the same time I've found draft of LDPatch through LDP WG wiki
* https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/ldpwg/raw-file/ldpatch/ldpatch.html

Both drafts use in examples case of updates to an Identity document. I
wonder if someone else already found time to compare those two Patch
approaches and could summarize similarities and differences?

Since LDP requires both Turtle and JSON-LD, it may make sense to also
have JSON based patch format.
