Announcing LDP Next Community Group wiki

Team,

Please be advised that we’ve established a new wiki page to act as a base for the LDP Next Community Group for recording information in our ongoing collaborations. Members of the Community Group should feel free to modify the page and add sub-pages as necessary. Members are encouraged to watch the following page:

Those who attended the July meeting may remember one of our to-do items was to “Email to ask CG members to do a sort of vote on the wiki page by identifying their areas of interest and willingness to work on the identified item(s)”

You will see that we created a table with CG member names on it. There’s a column to briefly identify your key areas of interest. When time permits, please review the Proposed Deliverables (Charter) as well as the list of Practical and Technical Issues and then list (if any) which you are most interested in participating in and in which you are willing to contribute some focused time and work on in the near future. Of course, specifying your intent is not an irretractable commitment; we understand you’re all very busy. We just want to get a pulse on where the community’s interest is strongest.

Also notice that the page has a section called “Action Plan”, which is for listing follow-up items from meetings and TO-DOs. Members are invited to contribute to this list (either resolving unassigned tasks or proposing what you think should be done). For now, I still have a couple of commitments undone, but I’ll do my best to get to the rest of them soon.

Thank you all for your patience, continued interest and support.

Cody
