Dear all, apologies for being quiet for some time. Our workshop at LDK-2021 in Zaragoza has been quite a success, but afterwards, we lost a bit of momentum -- for my part mostly because I wanted to wrap up OntoLex-FrAC ( https://www.w3.org/community/ontolex/wiki/Frequency,_Attestation_and_Corpus_Information) before seriously addressing annotations. Apologies for not communicating this properly, but as FrAC and the LD4LT annotation discussion have some overlap and FrAC seemed almost ready for release back then (it is even closer now, but still not there yet), I thought we avoid some redundancies and irritations by not developing these two things in parallel. In fact the devision of labour between both efforts has been questioned several times, as FrAC also involves annotated corpora and we might use the chance of an upcoming OntoLex meeting to discuss exactly that. For LDK-2023 in Vienna ( http://2023.ldk-conf.org/call-for-workshops-and-tutorials/), we are currently preparing a proposal for an OntoLex workshop. While this doesn't directly involve LD4LT, I was wondering about having a joint session in that workshop on OntoLex-FrAC and the LD4LT annotation harmonization initiative, as the latter is a natural follow-up to FrAC. In case you're interested to participate in such a session, please feel free to join the preparation call and to participate in the Doodle poll ( https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/er8nAW2b). Similarly, and especially in the light of novel metadata vocabularies especially for lexical resources, we might also consider to discuss other topics close to LD4LT there, e.g., the METASHARE OWL ontology and LexMeta ( https://zenodo.org/record/6897062#.Y4SI3Pso9H4). Best, Christian
