Hi all, below is FYI a summary of LIDER <http://lider-project.eu/> activities in May and June. Best, Felix LIDER started the organisation of two sessions for the BDVA summit <http://www.bdva.eu/?q=summit> in Madrid: * Together with META-NET <http://www.lt-innovate.eu/> and LT-Innovate <http://www.lt-innovate.eu/>, a session on multilingual data value chains <http://lider-project.eu/?q=multilingual-data-value-chains> * Together with people from W3C and other standardisation bodies, a session on standardisation and big data <http://www.w3.org/2015/06/bdva-summit_standardisation/> The sessions helped to raise awareness for both multilingualism and standardisation within the Big Data community. LIDER extended the list of guidelines and reference cards <http://lider-project.eu/?q=guidelines> on linguistic linked data. This information should help users of linguistic linked data and will be updated regularly. LIDER organised the 1st summer datathon on linguistic linked data <http://datathon.lider-project.eu/>. The event was a huge success, bringing young and experienced researchers from many areas together for creating new linguistic linked data sets. See social media items related to the datathon <http://topsy.com/s?q=%23sdllod15>.
