ld4lt-ISSUE-3 (role-of-dcat): Role of dcat in metadata model [META-SHARE metadata model] http://www.w3.org/community/ld4lt/track/issues/3 Raised by: Felix Sasaki On product: META-SHARE metadata model I propose to use DCAT http://www.w3.org/TR/vocab-dcat/ as a model for generalizing language resource metadata. The idea is not to have DCAT replacing e.g. the linked data version of META-SHARE, but just have DCAT as an addition. Example: http://example.com/myResource could be of a type in the sense of the META-SHARE linked data model, and also of a DCAT "dcat:CatalogRecord". Benefit: the linked data representation language resources becomes visible beyond the language resource community.
