Smart City Infrastructures, linked data on building design specifications and spatial adaptations for social distancing

Dear all,
I am working on a Smart City framework for disease control, which includes spatio-temporal constraints imposed through social distancing guidelines.
For existing buildings retrofitting these for compliance with social distancing guidelines poses challenges, but in the design of new buildings as well.
IMHO the current social distancing guidelines lack a scientific, evidence and data driven basis for determining spacing requirements.
There are myriads of protocols being used with differences in spacing and my informed opinion is that a one-size-fits-all recommended social distance minimum does not make sense.
Building design, environmental controls, but also the type of economic activities being conducted must influence the social distancing minimum distance required.
Are there any research activities being conducted that address this issue of social distancing as a function of architectural and building design, occupational safety, health hazards prevention and mitigation, environmental controls, etc.?
And linked data and ontology based modeling for such?
