Hello, in recent project where british architect is involved, terminology for the different levels are : Ground floor : the floor which lays on the level "right above the ground or on it" Basement : "1st Basement"; "2nd Basement" ; "Basement floor" etc. floors above the ground floor: "1st floor"; "2nd floor"; "3rd floor" In Czech republic on its own You may find two terminology habbits which are slightly different. ( One has need to be carefulll about what level, floor is talking with the other via phone or in particular cases to understand each other) . But all of these are strictly "absolute" namings. Not a relative ones. There are cases when you need to "attach" absolute namings to relative ones differently in each project. So for keeping it clear for anyone (especially in multinational cooperated working theams), there is reason to diferentiate the "relative" and "absolute" terms simiralry, like the "degree Celsius" and "degree Kelvin" differentiate between each other. Always is better to suggest higher flexibility let users to define on the start of the project definition for the project on its own (and ontly that project) : let be project with name TESCO, let have this project TESCO two parts, project-part A and project-part B let be : Basement floor a 1st level in a project-part A let be : Basement floor a 2nd level in a project-part B And that means, level is not the same that the floor in this particular project and this is temporarily defined in the specified project where circumstances shows the necessity to distinguish names like that. best regards Ing. Apparently both are synonyms [1]. However, "storey" is BE and "story" is AE. [1] https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/storey I was wondering if we might introduce skos:altLabel in BOT and introduce both synonyms? Best Georg
