Dear All Firstly, apologies for cross posting. We have an open Postdoctoral position in Semantic Web / Multi Agent Systems for the Web of things available at ENS Mines Saint-Etienne, France. This position may be an opportunity to work on ontology-based Building automation systems and contribute to the Linked Building Data community group. If so, I would be one of the advisors and contribute with the knowledge I have of Ontology Engineering and the ontologies I know of such as SOSA/SSN, ETSI SAREF, SEAS, BOT, WoT TD ... And also the SPARQL-Generate RDF transformation language, which may be used or extended depending on the envisioned project. In short : The primary scientific objective is to address the problem of automating the collection and exploitation of data in a cyber-physical environment. This will include testing the deployment of a software infrastructure to perform the collection according to a description of the services that use them (ex WoT TD). The application case is the demonstrator of the Territory platform (http://territoire.emse.fr) for which the in vivo simulation of a connected neighbourhood is planned. The infrastructure will act as an intermediary between the sensors deployed in this simulated neighbourhood and the platform in which the services and data will be described using Semantic Web technologies. Agents are deployed to coordinate and adapt the automation of the data workflows and service calls. More details are given in the description enclosed to this email. I am available for all additional information Best regards Maxime Lefrançois MINES Saint-Étienne http://maxime-lefrancois.info/ on behalf of Flavien Balbo head of the Computer Science team MINES Saint-Étienne https://www.emse.fr/~flavien.balbo/
