Hi All, It has been a long time since our last call and we have been generating a lot of content since then in the BIM*Q tool (formerly called ReqCap). We now have quite a collection of use cases and have also begun identifying some shared concepts across these. Some of this work has been documented in the attached deliverable. We are still eager to include other use cases and if people wish to share them, please contact us directly at SWIMing@scss.tcd.ie and we will begin this process. We are now looking to organize another LBD call next Wednesday (24th of August) at 12:00CET. We hope to discuss the upcoming TPAC event and whether it is worth pursuing the creation of a working group. We would like those of you who are interested, to join us in Lisbon, Portugal on the 19th of September. We will be exploring what are the next steps that need to be taken to realize the working group. My suggestion would be to focus on the ifcOWL standard as a basis for the working group, as a lot of documentation has already been generated. This is dependent I think on the availability of the key players (Pieter, Jakob, Seppo, Nan, etc.). For the TPAC event I think we need to address the following points - * Development of a charter o https://www.w3.org/2015/Process-20150901/#WGCharter o https://w3c.github.io/charter-drafts/charter-template.html * Engagement with the W3C community and build consensus (I think the LBD forms a nice basis for this) o https://www.w3.org/2002/05/rec-tips * Identify resources o What resources are available to commit to the development of the charter and a potential working group? This is a rough agenda for the call and it is open to suggestions and modification.
