Hi All, I hope you have all had the opportunity to have a nice break over summer. We are going to start up the Linked Building Data W3C *Skype call* again next *Friday 4 September*, from *11 AM CET to 12AM CET*. In it we will discuss some of the changes made to the wiki over summer and since and as a result of the Use Case session (chaired by myself) and held at the *3rd LDAC workshop, *which was**organized by 'Jakob Beetz' (who did a great job). We will also begin to explore the next stages of development of the use cases, e.g. defining some of the key use cases in greater detail and identifying appropriate ontologies and open data sets. The LDAC workshop was a great success in moving forward the deveolpment of ifcOWL, and minutes are available via the LDAC website (http://ldac-2015.bwk.tue.nl/), more precisely at https://bw-dssv17.bwk.tue.nl/public.php?service=files&t=047550d2728664df939fafbfd8cf7f9a. Pieter Pauwels is composing the workshop report. If you do not wish to appear in that report, because of confidentiality issues, this is possible. Just let him know. Looking forward to seeing you on Friday! Best, Kris. -- Kris McGlinn, Ph.D., Research Associate Knowledge & Data Engineering Group F 35, Computer Science, Trinity College Dublin +353 (0)1 896 8431
