Handling sensitive personal data over the cloud

Hi all

With regards to new UK sensitive personal data law, If sensitive personal
data stored outside of European union then a special permission required.
So from the aspect of many website save these information now in amazon
cloud . i would like to know how this law now change or adhere.

( without name calling basically how sensitive personal data over the cloud
