Dear all! Here are the details of the KGC challenge we have prepared in conjunction with the KGCW@ESWC2023. Please, consider to participate :-) First Challenge on Knowledge Graph Construction in conjunction with KGCW <https://w3id.org/kg-construct/workshop/2023>@ESWC2023 [https://2023.eswc-conferences.org/] ************************************************************** Challenge website: https://w3id.org/kg-construct/workshop/2023/challenge Date: 28th May 2023 Submission: Expression of Interest: 31st of March 2023 Results: 12th-19th of May 2023 *************************************************************** Knowledge graph construction of heterogeneous data has seen a lot of uptake in the last decade from compliance to performance optimizations with respect to execution time. Besides execution time as a metric for comparing knowledge graph construction, other metrics e.g. CPU or memory usage are not considered. This challenge aims at benchmarking systems to find which RDF graph construction system optimizes for metrics e.g. execution time, CPU, memory usage, or a combination of these metrics. The task is to reduce and report the execution time and computing resources (CPU and memory usage) for the parameters listed in this challenge, compared to the state-of-the-art of the existing tools and the baseline results provided by this challenge. This challenge is not limited to execution times to create the fastest pipeline, but also computing resources to achieve the most efficient pipeline. Any engine able to transform heterogeneous data into RDF graphs is welcome to submit its results. All information is provided in this link <https://w3id.org/kg-construct/workshop/2023/challenge.html>, and if you have any questions, please join us on Slack <https://join.slack.com/t/kg-construct/shared_invite/zt-1ftm8ebvo-qtu4xC_psKBZrgqF8ZPMtw>. Submission guidelines --------------------------------- Contributions for the challenge only require to have an abstract (expression of interest) submitted through the OpenReview platform <https://openreview.net/group?id=eswc-conferences.org/ESWC/2023/Workshop/KGCW>. The results must be submitted as well and presented at the workshop (virtual presentations are not allowed). Optionally, a report can be submitted after the workshop and it will appear within the proceedings of the workshop. Important dates ----------------------- Expression of Interest: 31st of March 2023 (AoE time) Submissions: First part (parameters): 12th May 2023 (AoE time) Second part (benchmark): 19th May 2023 (AoE time) Presentation of the results: 28th May 2023 Organising Committee -------------------------------- Dylan Van Assche, UGent (contact person: Dylan.VanAssche@UGent.be <mailto:Dylan.VanAssche@UGent.be>) David Chaves-Fraga, UPM & KULeuven Anastasia Dimou, KU Leuven Umutcan Şimşek, STI Innsbruck Ana Iglesias-Molina, UPM David Chaves-Fraga Postdoctoral Researcher Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Informáticos Ontology Engineering Group Calle de Los Ciruelos S/N. 28660, Boadilla del Monte, Madrid SPAIN ✉ david.chaves@upm.es <mailto:david.chaves@upm.es> ✆ +34 627 31 72 15 <tel:+34-627-31-72-15> davidchavesfraga.com Aviso / Disclaimer <https://www.upm.es/disclaimer> 🌳 🌳 Piensa antes de imprimir.
