Hi Pierre-Antoine, Back in 2022, I learned that the *JSON-LD for Linked Data* Community Group had begun work on YAML-LD. I found it compelling, and started attending the calls. From the very beginning, I felt welcome, - thanks to everyone, but especially to Gregg. He was always friendly, encouraging, and patient. He reviewed my pull requests and was always willing to help. His encouragement mattered deeply to me. It helped me believe that my interest in Linked Data wasn’t futile - that I could contribute something meaningful, however humble, to a field he shaped so profoundly. I continue pursuing this interest in great part because of my interactions with Gregg. I will cherish those memories. I am grateful to have known him, and I will remember him.
