This is a Call for Review of a proposed recharter for the JSON-LD 
Working Group:

The deadline for responses is 23:59 UTC on 19 December 2025 [0].

The mission of the JSON-LD Working Group is to maintain and extend the 
family of JSON-LD Recommendations and related Working Group Notes.

The core JSON-LD Recommendations (JSON-LD, JSON-LD API, and JSON-LD 
Framing) will undergo an update to introduce new features. The proposed 
charter specifically calls out several issues to be resolved, primarily 
security-related. Additionally, specifications for YAML-LD and CBOR-LD 
will be developed as new serializations of JSON-LD for YAML and CBOR, 
respectively.

The proposed Team resource for this group remains at 0.1 FTE.

The Advisory Committee Representatives of current participants will need 
to have their organizations re-join the group if the revised charter 
gets approved.

accommodate the charter review period.
