Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
[This announcement will be forwarded to W3C group chairs]

This is a Call for Review of a proposed recharter for the JSON-LD
Working Group:
https://www.w3.org/2022/11/proposed-json-wg-charter.html

Please review the charter and indicate your support using this online form:
https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/33280/jsonld-2022/

The deadline for responses is 04:59 UTC on 11 January 2023 (23:59,
Boston time on 10 January 2023) [0].

The mission of the JSON-LD Working Group is to maintain the family of
JSON-LD 1.1 Recommendations and related Working Group Notes.

The proposed charter is a continuation of the current charter to allow
the continued maintenance of existing W3C Recommendations. The proposed
Team resource for the group is also unchanged at 0.01 FTE.

The Advisory Committee Representatives of current participants will need
to have their organizations re-join the group if the new charter is
approved, as the new charter switches to Patent Policy 2020.

A diff from the current charter is available [1].

The current charter [2] is extended until 31 January 2023 to accommodate
the charter review period.

More information about the group can be found on its home page [3],
including information about group Chair, Staff Contact, and instructions
for joining the group.

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact
Philippe Le Hegaret, JSON-LD Working Group Staff Contact, at plh@w3.org.

This charter review and extension follow sections 4.3 and 4.5 of the W3C
Process Document:
https://www.w3.org/2021/Process-20211102/#CharterReview
https://www.w3.org/2021/Process-20211102/#charter-extension
