As an update:
I finished most of the heavy lifting by last Friday. This week, while
you're all enjoying your extended Golden Week, i am sorting out some
details, including section and figure links (for which we'll adopt a
brand new feature in respec). I still need to work on some aspects of
the front matter at the top of the document, and we'll need to translate
some of the text there.
When i get a little further, i'll ask Shimono-san to check for errors.
In the meantime, you can see the current state at
https://w3c.github.io/jlreq/temporary_bilingual_devt/
Best wishes for a peaceful transition to the Reiwa Era tomorrow.
