Hello, This is not much different from the previous agenda, but I have added a space to discuss modularization. Meeting: Invisible XML Community Group Chair: Steven Scribe: Norm Present: Regrets: Agenda: Topic: Accept the minutes of the previous meeting Previous meeting: https://www.w3.org/2025/05/27-ixml-minutes.html Topic: Review of open actions 2023-01-10-f: NTW to produce draft documentation of the XML vocabulary, issue #137 https://github.com/invisibleXML/ixml/issues/137 2024-03-05-c: SP to prepare pull request to resolve issue #139 (new grammars, new README) 2024-10-01-f: SP to make a PR for both versions of the RFC grammar https://github.com/invisibleXML/ixml/issues/139 2024-10-01-e: SP to review ixml tests and correct the grammar 2025-04-15-a: NW to try to clarify “parse tree” in the specification in a way that is satisfactory to everyone 2025-04-29: SP to see if the GLL parser he mentioned is open source + Completed Topic: Status reports Topic: New open issues Topic: Perspectives on serialization See https://github.com/invisibleXML/ixml/pull/296 Preview: https://invisiblexml.org/pr/296/index.html Diffs: https://invisiblexml.org/pr/296/autodiff.html Topic: Use pragmas for the prolog? Requirements document: https://github.com/invisibleXML/ixml/blob/master/proposals/pragma_req.md At the previous meetings, we had consensus for items 1-18. The remaining items are: 19. A pragma’s attachment to a specific syntactic construct must be unambiguous to software for parsing iXML grammars. 20. The relationship between a pragma and the construct it attaches to should be clear and unambiguous to human readers, in both iXML and XML notation. (I’d like to point to it, but the MarkupUK proceedings doesn’t seem to support doing that. At least, the frames version, which is the only version I can find, doesn’t.) Topic: A subtraction operator See https://github.com/invisibleXML/ixml/issues/249 Topic: Next meeting Normal date and time for ixml meetings is every other Tuesday at 3 pm British Summer Time, 4 pm Central European Summer Time (14:00 UTC during summer time, 15:00 UTC during winter time). On the usual schedule, the next meeting would be Tuesday, 10 June, at 14:00 UTC for one hour. Topic: Any other business For the record: the current state of the minute-taking rota is: + Norm Tovey-Walsh, 2025-03-15 + Steven Pemberton, 2025-04-29 + John Lumley, 2025-05-27 Be seeing you, norm -- Norm Tovey-Walsh Saxonica
