Pragma requirements: call for proposals

Dear iXMLers,

Following on from today''s meeting, I'd like to invite comments outlining proposed requirements for implementing pragmas in iXML v.Next.  Whether or not you normally attend meetings, you're warmly encouraged to share your ideas about this topic.

You can email me directly, or send your proposals for requirements to the list. I'll collate everything and distribute the final set of proposals on Jan 20th for review before the next CG meeting on the 21st, so please write by the 19th if at all possible. The requirements will be discussed in the meeting; do come along if you're interested in listening and/or wading in to the debate.

If you'd like some guidance regarding what a requirement might look like, I suggest looking at the section headed "Requirements and desiderata" in Tomos and Michael's pragmas proposal: https://github.com/invisibleXML/ixml/blob/proposal-pragmas/misc/pragmas.md#design-questions . Their "Design questions" section in the same document also poses some questions which I think could usefully be answered in the form of requirements.
