Regards, Marc&Chris. ============ IETF81 IRI wg meeting minutes Quebec City, Canada 2011-07-29 - AD is considering shutting down the working group since: + registration (4395bis) is being discussed in apps area and within a new mailing list, and therefore can be handled that way. + 3987bis still requires a lot of work before completion. + short term deliverable to be referenced by HTML5 (which deadline is delayed) can be handled by individual submission/AD-sponsored. + mailing list would remain opened - 4395bis (IRI registration guidelines: + imposing/specifying limits: remove from this document. + authors think it is ready for last call. + chairs will ask the wg for final review of this new rev. + potential issue about normative reference to 3987bis draft which its own course to publication may be much longer and then would block RFC publication of 4395bis. - draft-reschke-ref-parsing-00 and draft-weber-iri-guidelines-01 + Chris and Julian agreed to merge their drafts: draft-reschke-ref-parsing-00 and draft-weber-iri-guidelines-01 + and issue the outcome as individual draft to be considered as potential WG adoption. It could also include text from Adam Barth draft and 3987bis. This would be the target document to be referenced by HTML5. - charter: + AD and chairs will discuss a rechartering based on this meeting discussions and end-results. - 3987bis: + working session was done. some issues were fixed. see issue tracker. + when merged document(draft-reschke-ref-parsing-00 and draft-weber-iri-guidelines-01) is done, remove duplicate text from 3987bis and reissue a new version.
