And to reiterate, my point was that what Interledger is doing is somewhat
unique, at the crossroads of what were previously proprietary payment
network protocols and openly federated Internet overlay networks, and I
personally don't believe it falls into any specific bucket to the point
having a custom routing protocol isn't worth investigating
