Dear public-informationarchitecture, There is the term "web" applied to Quantum Computing though there is supposedly no direct reference to the " (World Wide) Web". Or, did I miss things...? arXiv:0810.2542 <https://arxiv.org/abs/0810.2542> [pdf <https://arxiv.org/pdf/0810.2542>, other <https://arxiv.org/format/0810.2542>] quant-ph doi10.1103/PhysRevA.82.040303 <https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevA.82.040303> Quantum computational webs Authors: D. Gross <https://arxiv.org/search/?searchtype=author&query=Gross%2C+D>, J. Eisert <https://arxiv.org/search/?searchtype=author&query=Eisert%2C+J> Abstract: We introduce the notion of quantum computational webs: These are quantum states universal for measurement-based computation which can be built up from a collection of simple primitives. The primitive elements - reminiscent of building blocks in a construction kit - are (i) states on a one-dimensional chain of systems("computational quantum wires") with the power to process one logical qubit and (ii) suitable couplings which connect the wires to a computationally universal "web"...
