Dear All, Resent with an added addresse public-webhistory@w3.org for considering that the research problem is "a thing was ever thought --almost 2 decades ago (1995)...". The research by Louis M. Weitzman said in the earlier message mentioned about the Web: As it was about an attempt to exploit the inherent structure of information, thus to arrange an architecture of information, the World Wide Web was considered --in relation with the matters of document as interfaces and of publishing on-line-- as a way to access and view on-line information. Along with Hypertext Mark-up Language, it was an approach to publish and present information with emphasizes on expressiveness needed to control the presentation of information, dynamic content and display situations.
