Telecon Time Scheduling
Editor's Draft? https://www.w3.org/WAI/IndieUI/track/actions/open
<jcraig> Since last call, added Preferences to User Context and
UIManipulationRequestEvent to Events module
http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/IndieUI/shortlog
james is learning IDL and Jason's stuff has been useful
Janina - how much more is needed before publishing a working draft
janina - getting some pressure from w3 to get something out
good explanatory text is missing
james - needs e.g. declarative acttirbute
jason - explanatory text useful to reviewers - maybe the declarative
attribute may not make it - useful to use editorial notes where not complete
jason - need to bring into line with w3c expectations
jason - there is a list of riles and requirements
Michael - pretty sure the doc does meet requirements
<MichaelC> IndieUI Events
<jcraig>
https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/IndieUI/raw-file/tip/src/indie-ui-context.html
<jcraig> Andy: User Context draft is not ready for publication.
<jcraig> James: Agreed. Events Module is close, but UC is not yet ready.
James - would be good to publish events first then user context later
jason - missing titles and stuff in the docs
q_
copy seen locally via mercurial looks different because of js exectution
some issues with stuff looking different because of contextual js
permissions
<MichaelC> Open actions
<jcraig> https://www.w3.org/WAI/IndieUI/track/products/2
open actions on Events
13, 14, 15 can wait until after FPWD
16,17, 19, 20 all on media/voulum-up-down etc. can wait till after FPWD
25,26 came up at f2f - what do so after something is seleted - after
first draft
<jcraig> https://www.w3.org/WAI/IndieUI/track/actions/28
28 leave as-is

<jcraig> ACTION: jcraig to complete introductory explanatory text for
Events Module [recorded in
http://www.w3.org/2012/12/12-indie-ui-minutes.html#action01]
<trackbot> Created ACTION-36 - Complete introductory explanatory text
for Events Module [on James Craig - due 2012-12-19].
<jcraig> ACTION: jcraig to add @ui-actions attribute which declares
event "receiver" (as opposed to event target and event listener)
[recorded in http://www.w3.org/2012/12/12-indie-ui-minutes.html#action02]
<trackbot> Created ACTION-37 - Add @ui-actions attribute which declares
event "receiver" (as opposed to event target and event listener) [on
James Craig - due 2012-12-19].
35, 36, 37 need to be completed before FPWD
Meeting time issue - problem that Janina cannot make all of the 5pm-6pm
EST call time but could make some of it
proposal - Jsnina run first half, Michael second half
s/jsnina/janina
DECISION: move back to 22.00 UTC
will need revisiting when we shift clocks again
User context:: Andy posted some intro text for a preferences section on
the context - no comments received
issue 1:and 2 - in the draft, now closed
can be thinking about privacy in the user context stuff
Michael - would be great to identify a test author to lead testing
Michael - need someone to rationalise the use case content on the wiki
Michael - needs someone to do dependency reviews on other w3c specs and
other groups outside
next meeting Jan 9th at Boston Time then 23rd Jan on Oz time
