Dear Alexander, Le 29/09/2014 17:50, Alexander Adolf a écrit : > For a Web UA we are talking about a different environment, however. A UA can just download it. To figure out > what format the inband metadata inside the file has, additional > information is needed. Either new mime types could be defined (e.g. > video/mp2t-dvb), This sounds awfully like a codecs or profiles parameter for video/mp2t. MP4 has several flavors identified with brands that can be found in the profiles parameter. Maybe MPEG should take action there and/or SMPTE (as MPEG registration for MPEG-2 TS). My 2 cents, Cyril -- Cyril Concolato Multimedia Group / Telecom ParisTech http://concolato.wp.mines-telecom.fr/ @cconcolato
