Since the cues will always be regenerated when playing forwards there is no need for this heavy burden so they can just get deleted. The only caveat is that the UA must keep separate lists on inband and out of band cues (which won't necessarily get automatically regenerated) but this is not such a big deal. As to what WebKit already does, my presumption is that the only support that WebKit has for inband tracks is something very new. Regards Graham
