The marker-tracking API should probably have at least one kind of marker
format that works reasonably well across a wide range of AR platforms.

We spent quite a bit of time discussing this during the face-to-face but
I'm unsure what the next steps are. Apple also mentioned some problems (ie
security) with @joshinch 's proposal. it would be nice to understand what
those are.
