Subject: RE: Canceled: W3C M&E IG conference call: Subtitles in 360° Video and VR Experiences on the Web

Hello Janina, all,

I didn't see any cancellation notice, and the meeting in my Outlook calendar is still listed as active, and as previously scheduled.
Although the meeting invitation has been modified recently, the actual meeting has been tentatively scheduled for Feb 5. long time ago (gosh, I'd say soon after TPAC, where one of the IG sessions was dedicated to this very subject), and the first official notice about the meeting was sent out last week on January 25: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-web-and-tv/2019Jan/0021.html

Can someone please confirm that the meeting is still happening, or if it's indeed cancelled?

Thank you,
Vladimir

Hello, All:

Do I understand the Subject line correctly? That this meeting is cancelled?

If so, that's actually great, as I'm unable to participate due to a prior commitment, and wedo certainly want to participate on behalf of the APA Working Group.

John Foliot has previously posted a pointer to the Media Accessibility User Requirements. This is definitely the key document for getting up to speed with our best current understanding of captioning requirements and related accessibility issues with HTML 5 media.

Looking forward to a rescheduling -- hopefully with more notice and options for times!

Best,

Janina Sajka
