IBM AR Patent with Blockchain

IBM has applied for patent that uses blockchain (secure public ledger) 
to identify and deter users from "undesirable" locations.

The full system seems application-specific to me; however, it might be 
useful to have hooks in the interface to facilitate this kind of 
identification.
