Just to be clear, I assume the process will have set a GitHub tag for the FPWD, so it can be recovered if required, or some similar process?

Will the main GitHub branch then be labelled version 0.x.1 or similar?

Hi Everyone,

This is a CFP to streamline the process of publishing working drafts and will mean less CFPs in the long run.

The new process is so that after a spec in the Working Group has published it's First Published Working Draft (FPWD) subsequent pushes to main on GitHub automatically update the spec based on the new content without needing a vote from the Working Group.

This will bring us inline with other groups in the W3C.

Please reply with any agreements, comments, criticisms, objections, concerns or approvals.
