Chairs,

The Director is pleased to announce the approval of the Immersive Web 
Working Group charter:
    https://www.w3.org/2020/05/immersive-Web-wg-charter.html

The group is chartered through 1 June 2022.

The mission of the Immersive Web Working Group is to help bring 
high-performance Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) 
(collectively known as XR) to the open Web via APIs to interact with XR 
devices and sensors in browsers.

Please use the following form to join the group. The form will also 
instruct you how to nominate participants:

The Working Group chairs are Ada Rose Cannon (Samsung) and Chris Wilson 
(Google). Team Contacts are Dominique Hazael-Massieux (0.2 FTE) and 
Atsushi Shimono (0.15 FTE) for a total of 0.35 FTE.
