Fwd: W3C TPAC 2020: Will your group meet?

For discussion:  does the Immersive Web WG/CG plan to meet at TPAC in
Vancouver in late October, presuming the pandemic is under control enough
to make that rational?

(My default answer would be yes, but I'd like to ask for everyone's
opinion.)

Dear Group Chairs,
Advisory Board and TAG Members,

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are of course not certain at this
point that we will be able to hold TPAC 2020 in Vancouver Canada.
However, we do hope that the global situation will stabilize by then.
This is why this year, the questionnaire we ask chairs to complete *by
24 May* is composed of two parts:

The first part is dedicated to the physical meeting. We ask Group
Chairs to start discussions to determine whether and when
your group(s) would like to meet during the TPAC week.

As a reminder, here are the current details:

***NOTE: If you chair more than one group, you will need to appoint
alternate(s) to complete the questionnaire for the other group(s) to
avoid overwriting your replies for the first group.***

Schedule for the week:
Group Meetings: 8:30 - 18:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Plenary Day: Wednesday 08:30 - 18:00
AC Sessions: 15:00 - 18:00 on Tuesday and Thursday

There will be registration fees to offset a portion of the meetings costs.

The second part of the questionnaire is optional. It focuses on a
potential virtual meeting in case we can not hold it in Vancouver.
We are highly interested in having your opinion on how to build an
efficient meeting.
