Per the plan decided on Tuesday, hit-testing and XRRay will not be part of the core AR module.  The following PRs migrate that content into the hit-test repo thereby transferring it to CG ownership for further incubation.  Unless there are objections, these PRs will be merged at end business day on Friday 8/16.  Once merged the associated GitHub issues will also be transferred.

These PRs have now been merged and the associated issues migrated to the AR repo.  All hit-testing related references and documents will be moved out of the AR module repository by end of week. Pull request links will be posted shortly.
