What about this study

from International Journal of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery that
does not say "estimated" and has similar data.

"Almost 70% of children presenting with sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL)
have vestibular system disturb, with 20% - 40% having severe bilateral
vestibular loss."
