No problem.
I group these 6 together as they all counter the view presented by the Chinese standard.
All of them are also white on black in the MGWBM - making them the more difficult set.
So, I am trying to go after the more troubling issues first.
After this we can start back on U+1821 - no problem.
Then U+1822 - big issues.
U+1823, Etc.

Hi Greg,

Let me comment on this briefly, because other opinion I have already have other mails to discuss.

I agree all of this modification.
It seems you are just correcting the impacted part of the FVS assignment of the related characters,
because of the NNBSP and MVS model we have changed.

I thought you are going through the all of the characters in one word file.
I am so sorry about my misunderstanding and send out so many discussion point in a couple of days.
It seems that I made a non-little confusion and it becomes the wave before the ship.

Sorry about it.

Specifically we are talking about 6 FVS assignments that are problematic as detailed in my document put out last week entitled FVS MisMatch.docx sent on August 2, 2015.

2.) Deprecate <U+1828-Medial><U+180C> and substitute <U+1828-Final><U+180B>.

3.) Deprecate <U+182C-Medial><U+180C> and substitute <U+182C-Final><U+180B>.

4.) Deprecate <U+182C-Medial><U+180D> and substitute <U+182C-Final>.

5.) Deprecate <U+182D-Medial><U+180C> and substitute <U+182D-Final><U+180D>.

Hi Greg,

Do you mean "we discuss the 6 variant FVS assignments first" is mean, we discuss these 6 FVS assignment firstly ?
U1820-A
U1828-NA
U182C-QA
U182D-GA
U1835-JA
U1836-YA

Ok, Let us discuss these first. Can I write them all in separate thread ?
Let me input our team's comment on these 6 FVS assignment one by one after I go to office today.

Thanks and Regards,

Jirimutu

Hi Jirimutu,

If we limit our comments to just the 6 FVS assignments, this is what I see ...

* You are in agreement with my suggestions for the suggestions being put before the UTC as outlined in my reponse to Erdenchimeg.

* As to the new variant at U+1820/U+1821-Final swept left with no space - would it be something like the attached? This is the sequence < U+180A >< U+180A ><U+1820> with no MVS included. Would this not do?

* You have further discussion on U+182D - let's wait until we find resolution on the 6 variant FVS assignments first.

* You have further discussion on U+136 - let's wait until we find resolution on the 6 variant FVS assignments first.

Greg

Subject: New Thread - FVS Assignment MisMatch

We are winding down on the NNBSP discussion.

Let's go ahead with another topic as attached dealing with 6 FVS assignments. The basic issue is that the current specification says to make the assignment at one position whereas the glyph is processed by OT rulings at another position.
