Hi Eric, * Of course, U+2014 is EM DASH and U+2015 is FIGURE DASH, so you get different answers if you look at the Unicode code point or at the character name. I can see how folks creating machine versions of the mapping from that standard could have ended up with different mappings. According to the code chart: 2015 ― HORIZONTAL BAR = quotation dash • long dash introducing quoted text The description is slightly different from yours, but this makes me understand that this “Horizontal Bar” can be interpreted as a kind of “Dash”.
