Hi everyone, Christian: Thanks for compiling the list of emails/notes on the topic. I've re-worked the main page a bit, based on our recent discussions. The current 'under construction' page is here: http://www.w3.org/International/its/tests/ For each data category (when applicable) I think we need both embedded and linked rules, as well as local in host elements and in <its:span>. That way we can test links and <its:span> support for tools that support only one data category for example. I've put files for the Translate data cat only for now. Now, I also realize that we actually could have 2 files per data category: on for global rules that (groups embedded and linked rules), one for local rules where host elements and <its:span> are both used... And on each file, exercise all the different features of a data category (like all the types of loc notes). Maybe that would make the test set smaller and easier to work with? The more I think about it, the more I think it may be better... Any thoughts? -yves
