On the subject of Indic head-line alignment, a -- to my knowledge -- unaddressed question is whether fonts of different size, internal scaling, and/or head-line thickness should have the top, middle, or bottom of their head-lines aligned. My inclination is to say the tops, but I don't think this has been definitively stated anywhere.
