RE: Proposal to publish quick tips page

Richard,

Sorry for the late reply. Just saw the this e-mail.

Everything looks ok to me except two items:

  1. In the upper right hand corner in the section "related links"
the hyperlink to "Techniques index" goes no where. I keep
getting the W3C "Sorry not found" message

  2. In each of the quick tips short description box, the titles
point back to itself. Is there a reason for this. It may
be confusing to users who click on and go no where?

Once you fix #1, I would say publish it. As for #2, I would publish even if you do not fix this. This can be fixed later, if we think it needs to be.

Russ

We had no telecon on Wednesday since it seems that several people were ill, and the rest unable. So we didn't take a decision on this document.

We've had no objections raised so far in email. So here's what I propose:

****
I'll publish this tomorrow lunchtime (GMT) if I receive no objections before then and assume that silence means consent.
****

I'd like to publish tomorrow because we'll be handing out the first batches of quick tips cards at the Tech Plenary (yay!), so it would be important to have something at the URI that they point to.

Cheers,
RI
