Hello, I am unable to reproduce your problem. I set my options to German and got a German page for www.ptc.com Wrt to choosing the language for yourself, that page appears to provide a link 'Select Country' on the English page, translated for others (not a good idea in my opinion) that allow you to set the page you want. Though it didn't seem to work quite as I expected in my quick test, perhaps you could check that out. Btw, I would suggest that you send queries of this kind to www-international@w3.org. You are likely to get more help from folks there. RI PS: Was your impression of this article really 'Poor'? This is usually rated fairly highly. I just want to be sure. ============ Richard Ishida W3C contact info: http://www.w3.org/People/Ishida/ W3C Internationalization: http://www.w3.org/International/ Publication blog: http://people.w3.org/rishida/blog/ > -----Original Message----- > From: nobody [mailto:nobody@web3.w3.org] > Sent: 26 September 2005 08:24 > To: ishida@w3.org > Subject: Feedback: qa-lang-priorities.en.html > > http://www.w3.org/International/questions/qa-lang-priorities.en.html > Usefulness: 1/5 > Described as: Other > > Comments: > i want to access the www.ptc.com in german > > even after resetting the langage to german the page is still > dispayed in french. > > I would prefoer to choose the language of the page myself > rather than being forced to use the language of my browser > setting BR christoph lischka > > Email: christoph.lischka@siemens.com > > User agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT > 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) > > Public list Ok. > Email Ok. >
