http://w3c.github.io/typography/ in addition to gathering links to typography information for spec developers and browser implementers, i'll also try to develop it to point to current issues, eg. http://w3c.github.io/typography/#text_decoration http://w3c.github.io/typography/checklist in addition to being a useful checklist for layout work, it will hopefully also point to specific information needs, eg. http://w3c.github.io/typography/checklist#text_decoration if anyone wants to help maintain these documents, i'd welcome it. ri -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Text layout index developments Date: Tue, 22 Nov 2016 08:19:51 +0000 From: r12a <ishida@w3.org> To: www International <www-international@w3.org> CC: W3C Digital Publishing IG <public-digipub-ig@w3.org> On Friday i updated http://w3c.github.io/typography/ with a new version that has been in development since TPAC. This version is designed to eventually become a document under /TR web space. It is an index that points spec developers and browser implementers to information about how typography works for a range of scripts. A companion page was also created to serve as a prompt for people working on layout requirements documents. See http://w3c.github.io/typography/checklist Comments are welcome, as are suggestions for additional links to authoritative material about typographic approaches. ri
