I'm still trying to bring the article "How to make list markers stand upright in vertical text" to a point where it can be published. A lot of the feedback from JLReq folks centred around approaches to laying out lists. I've been trying to figure out how to reproduce a number of common Japanese patterns using CSS, and i wrote up 2 examples at https://w3c.github.io/i18n-drafts/questions/qa-upright-counters-in-vertical.html#layout Could we please raise any issues for this article during the meeting, and agree to send out a new request for wide review ? (You'll want to look at the second example in Firefox.) ri
