some progress on [I18N-ACTION-445] (font subsetting)

I've been looking into how to best address my action 445:

In the course of doing this, I did see an interesting link to share:

It seems that using Noto Sans and the fonts.googleapis.com solutions seems to work. All I have to do is build the subset map of CharMod. Anyway, I thought I'd share progress. When I get my script-and-stylesheet working, I'll post those for general use.
