Richard at @Media
(invited back next year)
<r007a> Addison, speaking next month on language tags

i18n planet
<r007a> [29]http://www.w3.org/Mobile/planet
[29] http://www.w3.org/Mobile/planet
<r007a> the mobile web aggregates relevant blog posts from other
people's blogs - these people subscribe to have their blog included
by applying to Dom HM - should we do the same ?
<r007a> addison has no blog
<r007a> michael doesn't blog regularly
<r007a> addison: would we open this to the world
<r007a> ri: open to the world for viewing, i think
<r007a> we'd need to vet potential subscribers like mobile web's dom
does
<r007a> ap: i wouldn't be opposed to it, but we need to do some
research
<scribe> ACTION: Richard, send note to winter list, etc., and
research starting an internationalization blog aggregator [recorded
in [30]http://www.w3.org/2007/06/12-core-minutes.html#action09]
feedback forms
Richard receiving a huge number of feedback forms
causing him some problems, since there is a lot of spam/low quality
messages - main difficulty is in scanning the lists for the
spam/malicious mails
Richard proposes change to format
digg-like vote instead of 1-5
moderation of text
richard: what's useful is commentary
<Michael> See the end of
[31]http://blogs.sun.com/Argentina_ambassador/entry/sun_lanza_oficia
lmente_el_sun for the simple math hurdle for providing feedback

[32]http://www.w3.org/2006/09/geofeedback/displayfeedback.php
[32] http://www.w3.org/2006/09/geofeedback/displayfeedback.php
richard: no voting feedback at all - just comments
addison: consider scheduling regular reviews of comments on a
per-article basis?
richard: require email address and allow public publication
running in the range of 20-30 typed comments / month out of well
over 250 responses
for next time: consider changing to comments only feedback and
instituting regular of feedback
need a volunteer to help with that
Michael would like to help
need to consider our process here
status review
Last call review items & process
felix's items (later)
What is encoding, and why should I care?
has been in review for nearly (maybe over) a year
there is already an action above for this
XQuery full text working drafts

[33] http://www.w3.org/International/reviews/0706-xquery-fulltext/
general glance through
addison: nothing seems out of place, need to have felix for
discussion
... prioritize for next week
SVG WG comments on the 06 Nov CSS21 WD - issue 79
felix not here, so tabled
CSS out of range unicode escapes
table for another week
