<r007a> ITS doing reviews
[29]http://www.w3.org/International/its/reviews.html
[29] http://www.w3.org/International/its/reviews.html
RI - looking at W3C docs and URI specs. Should specify in terms of
IRI.
EMMA review comments
<r007a> [30]http://www.w3.org/International/reviews/0704-emma/
[30] http://www.w3.org/International/reviews/0704-emma/
<r007a> Discuss. Ok to send?
emma - encoding declaration. May not be an issue - can just fallback
to default.
RI will edit comment #2 accordingly
Emma allow xml:lang to have a null value?
might depend on relationship to emma:lang
ri change #3 to say: in xml 1.0 you can indicate absence of language
information, how does EMMA allow for that in xml:lang and emma:lang?
Comment #4: diff/relationship between emma:lang and xml:lang?
Analogous to HTTP content-type & HTML head content?
Felix- EMMA can link modalities together, using the emma:lang
attribute information ... audio/video signals .. have
"interpretations"
David - example of En movie with Fr subtitles
RI: will change comment to "it's not clear how to us how emma:lang
should be used..."
pls provide examples contrasting usage of xml:lang with emma:lang
Comment #5
multiple language separators
comma is the typical separator - should use same in EMMA.
URI definition should be normative. Agreed.
XML 1.0 does not mention IRIs
EMMA should adopt XQuery URI defn
XML WG wrking on slightly diff defn for resource identifiers - could
complicate things
Submit comment as is.
SVG WG comments
RI: very complex. Needs more time, reading previous threads, get MD
involved.
CSS out of range unicode escapes
David: should treat out of range characters as errors
RI - asks David to mail public list w proposal on what to say to CSS
<r007a> ACTION: David, David to mail public list w proposal on what
to say to CSS wrt
