I18N-ISSUE-270: Line breaks and justification [klreq] http://www.w3.org/International/track/issues/270 Raised by: Richard Ishida On product: klreq Reported by: Nat McCully When I wrote the mojikumi engine in InDesign, and we did some research into what Korean required, we found several things: 1) line-breaks are sometimes made only on spaces, but not all the time. We key off the justification settings (full-justified causes different line breaks than left-justified). I am interested in the experts' take on what is best and what the inter-dependences really are. This is the single most important feature of a text engine, so I would expect it to be mentioned first in the spec.
