If the door is not completely closed, can you live with the HTML5 ruby (possibly with otional rb tags added)? To me, the most important issue is to finalize ruby markup as soon as possible. Given the currrent status of html5, I guess that "complex ruby" is a dead cat. Cheers, Makoto
